Located on, Dahab is actually divided into two villages – the Bedouin Village of Assalah in the south and the administrative centre in the north. Tourists flock to Dahab for its windsurfing suitability as well as the unique on-the-ground restaurants that litter the area. Here, tourists can choose from the fish available and have it prepared the way they want it. Those who prefer some sun and sand can head to the beach where they could indulge in several water activities such as snorkelling and sun bathing. It also offers total relaxation as you can only hear distant murmurs and the sound of the waves. Dahab also offers a lagoon, formed by a long tongue of the beach, for those with children. A diving spot known as the Blue Hole can be found a few kilometres north of Dahab.
